Veiled Chameleon: dried poop stuck?

Hey guys,

I have a male veiled chameleon. I have had for about 13 months now. I have notice over the past couple of weeks that near his rectum area it seems like dried poop is stuck. I could be completely wrong and I was just hoping for some insight from anyone who has seen this before. He is active, drinking and eating regularly. Also if some one happens to know what this is could you please acknowledge me with some advice as to what I can do? Thanks. Here are some pictures to observe:

It may be a sperm plug. It is not the color I would expect but can you either soak his bum or at least mist him with warm water for a good while? Also you might want to try soft bodies feeders for awhile? Things like silkworms hornworms, even waxworms or butterworms? Those might help. Let me know how it goes.
