Veiled chameleon dull gray and skinny

Hello,

I purchased a juvenile veiled chameleon around 6 months ago and I’ve noticed over the last few months that it’s become very dull gray with no color and seems kind of skinny. I’m not sure what the problem is. I have reptisun 5.0 uvb as well as basking bulbs set up to come on from 8am to 8pm. I have a misting system that automatically spays the tank throughout the day and night. I have ventilation fans built in on the sides and top of the enclosure. I dust the insects with repticalcium without d3 every day and with d3 about once a week. What am I doing wrong???

Hello, and welcome to the form.

I’m sure someone would be able to help you if you filled out the husbandry form, I will say at a glance the highest perch seems like it’s too far from your uvb light

With a t5ho you want your highest branch to be 9 inches away to put them at the correct level of exposure. From what I can tell from your pictures you seem to be pushing like a foot

Also you shouldn’t use reptivite more than once every other week, twice a month.
