Veiled chameleon green polka dots

Hi all this passed month I saved a veiled chameleon who was a pet smart in a small cage he was growing out of quickly so got him now he's in a 18 by 18 by 36 cage well adjusted he was hand fed always out and about. But for the life of me he just went a great shedding but has these super bright green polka dots all over him. What does it mean??? He always wants out of his cage and sleeps on my head. Great guy but I can't find a direct answer for green spots for moods no reds or blacks just green polka dots in his coloring. Hope he's happy wanted to get sum fed back ty.

Post a picture please. My guess would be his stress colors. I've been keeping veileds for awhile and the young ones usually show dots when scared or stressed.
