My male veiled 1.5 years old wont open his eyes. He hasnt moved from his branch or eaten in 5 days. He 8s in a screen cage 36" tall by 18 wide and deep. He has a uva heat bulb and uvb bulb on 12 hours a day and a mister that runs once every 3 hours for 45 seconds. It drys out between but keeps the humidity about 40. His basking area is about 95 and it fades to 75 at the bottom of the cage, at night it drops to 68. He is in a roo. With indirect natural light, away fro. High traffic areas or drafts. The top of his cage is 7 ft tall. He has real wood with fake leaves both plastic and silk, and viens going throughout his cage for both hiding spots, ddw drops, and light exposure. :Your Chameleon*- veiled, male, hatchex in march 2012 had him since june. He is a jerk so i dont hold him, but he is stick trained so he comes out to bask on occations. Feeding*- meal worms every other day and crickets once every few weeks. The crickets are disted with calcium and the meal worms with his Supplements, he does not have sunken eyes so i think he is hydrated. Fecal Description*- Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Normal for him, brown hint of white like wet play dough. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? Never tested . history*- he got in a fivht whe. He was a hatchling and his right eye scabs over every once in a while from it. Never healed correctly.
