veiled colour question

have a around a 3 to 4 month old male veiled...


just curious abouthis colour..during the day hes seems fine...but sumtimes his colour goes realllllly pale bright green..like almost white!! and same at night..he glows at night pretty much...


he eats and drinks normally..and goes nice green colours here and there..never really dark colours tho


just wondering about the pale green colour

what are his basking temps,sometimes they go white if they are overheated.

not really had this with mine so maybe one of the more experienced keepers will be more help.

perhaps put i picture up ?

At that age mine seemed to go back to his original colours at nightime when he was sleeping. This was mostly a bright green, not near white but in the dark it possibly would look bright and cause you to think it was.

Trixxi goes almost white when she sleeping it's almost like shes glowing, think it may have something to do with how relaxed or at ease she is!Someone fell free to correct me if needs be!

I think it's normal. When I take a llok at the pictures of my young Yoda, he was so pale on them all. He became more colorable about 5-6 months..

His coloration sounds pretty normal. I would be more concerned if he was becoming dark brown,almost black, for extended periods of time. This would indicate a more serious condition, like health problems and stress. I would love to see a pic of him. Sounds like a pretty little guy.
