Hey guys, Im after a little help.

After reading through some of your threads i was wondering if you could let me know what you would do.

I have a 7week old veiled cham coming next week, so i guess he's be 8 weeks, hehe. What would your feeding schedule be for him?

Im in the UK so i can get hold of locus

Could you please include numbers of the feeder foods... i wouldnt want to put in 20 of whatever when you think say 3 would be enough :D

many thanks

Gary

each space between sentences is a day...

10 locust a few supers

10 locust a few silk worms

10 silk worms a few wax worms

10 locust a few butterworms

10 supers and few locust

hornworms and silkworms

locust and butterworms

thats a perfect diet plan...but it can vary alot...remember variety is key.

I agree variety is great.
A young chameleon can eat quite alot. At two months, I suggest feeding about three appropriately sized insects at a time, two to four times a day. Its not an exact science. I've fed varying amounts over the years, and you can get a sample of what Im currently doing by checking out my blog. I find over-feeding is a more common mistake than underfeeding.

As soon as he gets here there will be no stopping me with the pictures :D (well, as much as possible without stressing the little dude out:()

Thank you for all the replies, its a great help knowing you guys and gals are around :D

The guy that provides me with my roaches also sells blue and green bottle flies/casters.

Will it be ok to add these to the mix?

I'm thinking the green bottles for now considering the size of the little one

Growing silkworms

So i have 100 smalls in a metal grid container...with tin foil on top...with tiny holes, and its 93 degrees during the day and 80 at night.....they get chow all day the first day and half a day the second day.....i come home and clean they aroud 5 pm...chow dries up at like 2 pm that day.....so they were only 3/8 inch when i got them...its been a week, and they are only hafl an inch...they are always hard and hydrated when i clean them....so what im a doing wronge?
