Veiled female never came out of her lay bin tonight..

One of my chameleons, an eight month old veiled, is laying her first clutch of (infertal) eggs today. She seems to be having problems, maybe, or perhaps I'm just being paranoid. She has been digging all day, I can hear her scratching on the plastic of her lay bin. But she never came out of her hole. The lights for her, and all the other chameleons, are on timers. Now the lights are off but she has yet to come out. None of my other females have ever done this. Usually they finish long before the end of the day and go back up to the top of the cage. Can someone tell me if this is normal or if I should be concerned? And if I am right to be concerned what should I do?

My female panther slept in one of her tunnels before. As long as it didn't collapse on her she'll finish laying tomorrow. If it collapsed on her then you should dig her own, but otherwise I'd leave her alone.

Any way to tell if the tunnel collapsed or if she's just sleeping in there?. I have been worried that maybe it did collapse. Her tunnel is defined on top and I could hear her scratching around but I'm always paranoid. If the tunnel didn't collapse and I dig her out I'm afraid she could get egg bound because of the stress..

I know that there is a chance that I am just being crazy paranoid. I'm 39 weeks pregnant and the thought of her dying while laying her eggs when I'm so close to having a baby.... well it makes me think of everything that could go wrong when I give birth..

I've had girls sleep in the hole before. I would check on her with a small flashlight to make sure she is ok.

I used a compact mirror and could see her a little bit. Saw a little movement too so I'm gonna leave her alone now and just hope for the best. Thanks guys.
