My Male Veiled Cham (he is about one year I don’t know how old he is )who is still a juvenile thinks I’m food.My theory is that he thinks I’m a mealworm (the only food he eats). Any help ? EDIT: he is also dark all the time (except when asleep) and has a line on his spine.Still any help? He is about six inches and I can’t clean his cage due to this. Please help!
The first image was in March and the second one was today.in the second one he is skinny because he doesn’t like the camera.

Don't feed mealworms to him, they can cause impaction. Please elaborate on him thinking you are food, is he trying to bite you or hiss at you, or is he literally trying to shoot his tongue at you? Please elaborate on him having a line on his spine and you not being able to clean his cage. Is he trying to bite you when you try to take him out for a cage cleaning? Be specific.

Superworms are better to offer than mealworms. They are high in Chitin also though and fatty so of course in moderation. I would not use mealworms at all.Have you tried silkworms? It is not healthy to just feed one type of insect. Variety is best.

He shoots his tongue in turn causes the inability to take him out of his cage.
