Enclosure Specs
-18x18x36 (all mesh).
-60w house light.
-reptisun 100b UVB. (I have recently turned this off since i learned that could be the reason hes inactive, with no success yet.)
-I keep his basking spot in the 85-90 range and humidity at around 65-70 but no lower than 50.
-No night lights because hes in a screen cage and my house is around 70-75 at night.
-I like to mist 2-3 times a day, but sometimes more if the humidity is down.
-Currently i have a humidifier running 24/7
-He has two fake leave branches, a large sandblasted stick, and a large vine. ( I've bought a live ficus and some more decor for him but they haven't arrived from LLLreptile yet because of a shipping delay.)
-No substrate, just newspaper for the bottom.

Chameleon Info
-I'm not sure how old he is but he's about 5-7 inches with his tail out. So maybe 4-5 month old.
-He is a Veiled with a good green color when sleeping and when he isn't stressed. So far, no other colors besides green and the occasional brown/black.
-I've had him for about a week and a half now.

Issues
  • Hasn't eaten in about 4 days
  • Sleeps throughout the day and isn't active
  • I haven't seen him drink either

Not sure what to do, i hand fed and gave him pedialyte mixed 50/50 with water yesterday and got about a full dropper of both baby food and the pedialyte mixture. he didn't want to open his mouth today and didn't get much of either in today. I live about 3 hours from a reptile vet so I'm trying to find an easy solution before I take him on a 6 hour round-trip.

Please don't make multiple threads about the same chameleon with the same issues. It makes it hard for us to follow....and it's against the forum rules. I'm going back to the other thread.
