Veiled is a common name for a chameleon which derives from yemen which is below saudi arabia. and yes, they are the same.
two sub species of veileds are c.c. calyptratus and c.c. calcarifer

calcarifer is a hybrid between calyptratus and africanus.
Although i have never seen a healthy calcarifer picture, most have MBD.
