Have you ever filled out a husbandry form. Also is it a reptile experienced vet . Is she eating and drinking. I'm not a vet but the antibiotics could be making her weak

she needs some UVB its the weekend can you take her into the sunlight tommorow AND DOES SHE HAVE A UVB LINEAR LIGHT

Yes she has a linear 5.0 ho uvb fixture and I live in ny so I can only take her outside in the summer

How old is her linear UVB bulb and how far away is it from her in the tub? Is her vet experienced with chameleons? Filling out this form would be a great help, as well! Be sure to include as much detail as possible and pictures of her, her entire enclosure and her lights, too.

Chameleon Info:
  • Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
  • Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
  • Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
  • Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
  • Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
  • Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
  • History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:
  • Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
  • Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
  • Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
  • Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
  • Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
  • Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
  • Location - Where are you geographically located?

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.

Filling out the full form and adding pictures would help tons! It’ll also keep your info more organized and easier to respond to. How much do you feed her and how often? Wat brands of supplements and how often do you use each one? Has her fecal ever been tested? Veileds can’t have fake plants, only real! Fake plants are an impaction risk since veileds eat plants and anything else they can take a chomp of

Hi. Sorry your chameleon isn’t doing well. Not sure I’ll be able to offer much. It would help immensely if you went into more detail and answered all the husbandry questions. Has your girl laid eggs yet? What is the antibiotic prescribed? Can you include more pics of your cham and enclosure please?

Please post a coupl of photos from the last day or two so I can see all of her.

What antibiotics was she given? Did you make sure to put them in her moth far enough back that they didn't go down her airhole near the front of her mouth? Did younkeepmher well hydrated while she was on them? Is the eye getting better or all better now?
