Video of Camille devouring a hibiscus flower

Frans has a good story about his cham being stressed and upset about its flower..... after attacking it's flower and then eating it, the stress subsided. :D

Wow! lol she's really munchin'! I was hoping my panther would eat some plant matter or veggies but he could care less. Guess it's a veiled thing.

That was so cool :D

She really enjoyed that!

I managed to pick up a Hibiscus yesterday, i'd been looking for over a month

Awesome!

Im going to HD tonight to get a Hibiscus!:D
My iguanas used to devour hibiscus blooms, I had no idea Chams liked them too!

A delicate eater she is not. What was distracting her so? An evil crow nearby?

That video made me laugh, Jann! :D Camille is so beautiful. I love the way she shoots the flower instead of reaching for it! I've just put my Hibiscus in with Amy as she has already eaten 2 baby umbrellas on her plant! Greedy madam!:D There aren't any flowers on it yet, so I can't wait to see if she'll eat some! Lily always ignored all the plants and flowers in her cage. Looks like Amy's gonna be the complete opposite and eat everything, lol!

You should enter that video into the Summer video comp! Go, Camille!!

Thanks for watching and posting your compliments. I thinks she's just soooo cute and sweet. She eats a hibiscus flower or 2 just about everyday. I think the camera distracted her......she kept looking at it. Jann

Haha she really enjoyed that! You have a beautifully colored cham.
I took a peek at the rest of your vids and all your chams look great!!

What a wonderful video. PM sent! :p
I have never seen chameleon so vigorously eat a flower like munching a salad.
Like Kevin said, mine do it out of hatred.
Most likely because of my hibiscus is blood red color.
He saw it, get mad, headbutt the flower, then start yanking and shaking it (doing his death bite). And, that's the end of that flower's life.
For the sake of his mental well being, I took the hibiscus plant out and change it to ficus and pothos.

I wish I put it in camera like yours.

Very cool video :) Had to watch it a couple times, she sure enjoyed that flower!

I have a male panther that goes crazy on his plants, I usually have to replace the plant about every 6 weeks for him
