can't someone help me identify this plant? Wondering if it's safe for my chem.

Hello,

What you are showing is the vining version of philodendron. I stay away from this plant because it can release calcium oxalate crystals if bitten or broke. Just not a great situation for chameleons. It is a beautiful hardy vine so I can see why you would want to use it. There are so many viable options for plants so no need to risk it!!

There is a very similar vining plant you can use instead. Its a pothos, available in many places as a hardy houseplant, sometimes described as a golden pothos. The leaves don't have that curled long tip, and are fleshier than the philodendron. The plants are related, but pothos has a lower oxalate level. Many keepers use them as they are tough, handle low light and the damp cage conditions.
