Vivarium controllers

I have been wanting to make my setups as close to my chams' natural habitat as possible... Vivarium controllers sound like a great way to do so, but require a certain investment!

Does anybody use vivarium controllers? If so, can you please share your experience and any relevant information (brand, cost, how do you use them, how many cages, etc)?

Thank you!

I was looking into getting a HerpKeeper myself. Sorry don't have one yet though.

Thanks for your post - if you do get one, I would love to know how it works out for you!

From my experiences with customer service and warranty issues with digital aquatics reefkeeper controller you'll be buying frustration I sold my reefkeeper just for those reasons alone and went with another system I have purchased the ecozone controller have yet to set it up but I will tell you it is a much more solid unit than anything you'll get from digital aquatics just from my personal experiences....I hope to have time soon to get the ecozone all set up!

Don't even waste your time with ther HerpKeeper. By the time you outfit it, you'll have spent more time and money than you would with one single EcoZone Vivarium controller.

Check out my thread. I own two EcoZones: https://www.chameleonforums.com/eco-zone-vivarium-control-36446/

Tony, at EcoZone is the best. The most personable support ever.

Thanks! Ecozone is the system I was looking into. I will check out your thread about it and plan accordingly!

Hi Draco1702,

Glad you are looking at the EcoZone!

Feel free to drop me an email if you would like some help on setup or other info related to the EcoZone, or even general info on lighting, etc I would be happy to help. The Dimming capability of the EcoZone is a favorite for the basking spots, and Web features are very nice.

We have new software coming out this month to add advanced data logging, and a "brumation" automation feature to automate the gradual cool-down and warm-up over a programmable number of days. The Brumation feature is definitely a vivarium first!
