Water Purification?

I would say yes. That's what they drink. Some of it depends on where you live. If you know your tap water is pretty good (no fluoride for example) then it might be okay.

It depends on where you live and the quality of the water you're exposed to. A lot of people do pufiry their water just to be safe.

tap water is fine to use with regards to health/safety--

generally most don't use it with their mister systems as it clogs them over time

i just go to the aqua fina machines for 35 cents a gallon..use that to fill my mistking and for the drippers..

I have a 0 TDS system that is designed for reef tanks for all my misting water

Rob, I wouldn't recommend using RODI on the chams. RO is fine, but RODI is a bit of over filtration.

For those using tap water that isn't too hard, that your nozzles clog, sediment and carbon filtration is a good idea. If you get the right setup, you can remove a whole laundry list of bad stuff. RO water is a great route for those in areas with hard water.
