Water ?

water choices ?

bottled water seems a little impractical and potentially expensive, consider if you run a dripper (and you probably should) you are likely to go through at least 1/2 gal. a day in your dripper alone if you do use bottled water, i would just use plain distilled water or water purified by reverse osmosis. i would be wary of some natural spring waters as they may be a little high in mineral content , some have added minerals and salt. i use brita water my self (i go through about 1+1/2 gal a day). because i live in an apt and its just practical for me . other better choices depending on you situation would be a faucet mounted filter, or better still, an under sink reverse osmosis filter system from lowes or home depot, they start at about $50 for a basic single stage carbon filter and go to about $200 or more for a multi stage filter system, you can mount them under your sink in an hr or two and they dont interfere with sink operations. they have an easy to replace filter(s). another choice would be to simply have water delivered on a regular basis (like sparkletts) just be sure you know whats in it and be wary of added ingredients. i would also recomend heating your spraying water (actually heated, not just warm water from the tap) but thats jmo and a whole nother subject. just my 2c worth

water options ?

an example of an under sink water filtration system, the one pictured is more than neccessary, all you really need is the cartidge part in 1,2 or 3 stages (the stages indicates the number and type of cartridges) cartridges need to be replaced every so often, but still cheaper than bottled water in the long run. if you plan on staying in your existing location for any length of time , an under sink filtration system is the way to go. the choice might also depend on the part of the country you are in and the quality of existing tap water available.
