wax worm rejected

I fed my 11 week old male Jackson a small wax worm. He was all excited and nabbed it up but as soon as he mashed it, he spit it out. He looked at me like I was nuts. Too cute.
They are my veiled's "ice cream" food. <G>

yeah my Jackson doesn't eat waxworm either, maybe he knows it's not good for him

wax worms.........

Yeah.....wax worms are down there on the nutritional scale. Lots of fat....like little sticks of butter.

My veiled doesn't like waxies either. He still prefers mealies and silkies and of course crickets.
