wax worms

Hi, I have a 4 month old Panther Cham. I bought him some wax worms yesterday, but I am not sure how to feed them to him.. Any suggestions. I dont really want the to free roam around the cage because they tuck themselves into the cracks where the bottom meets the side of the cage and I figure they wont move from there till they die. And he refuses to eat from a cup. I have crickets that free roam in the cage I never see him eat from the bottom of the cage, he will usually wait till they crawl up the side of the cage and he will eat them from there. I tried to see if the worm will climb but he wont stick... guess they cant climb screen? Anyways, also, I was thinking about breeding and raising more wax worms for future.... is it ok for me to feed my cham the moths before they die??? Thanks so much!!

You should use the search option on the top of the webpage.
Type in wax worm.
Not sure what to tell you about the cup feeding.
Wax worms dont wiggle to much, so this makes another reson why they arent the greatest feeder.

Wax and mealworms arent the best feeders. They should be treat based only. Im not sure about the moths either. If your cham wont eat them out of a cup or from the bottom they are pretty useless to you. Wanting to breed your own bugs is great but personally I would go with a feeder that is more nutritious and can be used as a safe staple. I just got my dubia roaches in today and both my panthers loved them. I hear they are easy to breed and they stink way less than crickets. I also got my silkworm eggs in. I dont think I have the means to breed those but if you buy eggs they are way cheaper. Anyway good luck with what you go with.
