Wax worms

I've been having trouble with my 4 mth cham eating silkworms but I just put a wax worm in there and he ate it like nothing whats up with that!!

Man that is one SCARY avatar picture! Waxworms have always been a favorite of most of my chams. It did take them a little longer for them to get used to silkies, but now they gobble them readily!

Yea I know, I was crackin up when I saw this pic. He ate the silks at first but now he looks scared. so should just pu them in and let hi get used to them or wait till he gets bigger???

I would leave them in-they will be fine for a few days and he should eat them by then.

My chameleons don't like silks either wax worms are candy not good in large amounts. Give gut loaded super worms a try they never refuse them.
