The man I bougth my chameleon from suggest me to feed him wax worms to help him get bigger. Now I herd that the are not that good for them I was woundering what is a recommended amount to feed him in a serving and how often should I feed them to him. He is still small his body is the length of a grown mans middle finger. but I am not sure how old he is.

Wax worms are not a good feeder insect they are all fat and will spoil your chameleon. As a treat once in awhile is fine. Use insects that are gut loaded well and put the right kind of weight on him.

Agree... I have bought them from my chameleon when my cham stopped eating. They are a great appetite stimulant. I fed my cham a few of those and he was back to eating like a horse... But they are not good as a part of a daily diet. Maybe 1-3 a week at them most I would say. Phoenix worm are good to feed.. they are healthy and my cham loves them!
