Wax worms

With regard to the little fella still not eating - I was wondering about wax worms? I know not ideal as fattening etc but it may tempt him?

Anyway, as he is only approx 8 weeks would they be a bit too big for him to cope with? I have plenty as my sugar gliders love them so was wondering if I could just let a couple go inside his viv?

Thanks again

give it a try if that don't work try some Phoenix worms or even some baby super worms if you can. super worms always stops the hunger strikes for me but they have also started a few as well.

Thank you - just ordered some Phoenix worms - got some for my beardies to!
How long before I should go from mild to moderate worry then full on panic with no eating?! He is so little.

why is he not eating? how long has he not been eating? how old is he? what type is he? etc
perhaps there is another thread on this topic

waxworms are a terrible feeder choice, and not something you want to get an animal used to eating.
pheonix (solider fly maggot) is better

at 8 weeks old he should have a hearty appetitie. Please fill out the ask for help form in the health clinic. Go to forums, and then health clinic and then ask for help form. There could be something in your set up causing him not eat.

I have filled out the ask for help in general area. Had him since Saturday and he is a Yemen approx 8 weeks and I not yet seen him eat since I have had him. Phoenix worms should arrive tomorrow and put lots of small (motion worms but tiny) loose in his Viv yesterday. Maybe eating in secret??! Pretty sure he not tho as he never seems to be where the food is.
Thank you all - its much appreciated
