Hey guys so i got some wax worms today for my leopard gecko and some for charlie and i was wondering if keeping them in oatmeal is good. i put them in there and they dont seem to move as much as when i picked them up today

Wax worms are the larva of bee's i think the only thing they eat is whats in the bee's honeycombs feed the off asap remember only as treats the darker they are the the more nutrients they lose

You can refrigerate them to make them last longer. I rarely use these simply because they aren't of good nutritional value.

Perhaps what you are thinking of is the bee moth larvae, or wax moth larvae.

ya my mistake haha I just bought a 50 count of them as treats for my leopard gecko and end my chams hunger strike "I was using mealworms"

wax worms

I feed my veiled what I am told are wax worms. I'm told they are high fat/protien, he loves them. I keep them in the fridge as well (slows them down) i keep them with bran. I had one that went into a cocoon, hatched into an ugly little moth.
