Waxworms or mealworms?

Hi guys I was wondering wether mealworms or waxworms are better to feed to my veiled cham. He usually eats about 3 crickets or 1 dubia roach in the morning (it seems to be enough for him and even if I put more food in he only eats it the next day) and in the afternoon he gets a few worms which he always eats. I know that waxworms are quite high in fat so I was wondering if it would be okay for him to eat 4/5 every day or if that would be way too much? Thanks.

Neither as a staple. From what I understand, wax worms and meal worms are to be used as a treat, or on occasion, due to the high fat content (wax) tough shell (meal) in which you mention in your post.
In my readings, I see that super worms are great, as well as phoenix worms. Nonetheless, I try to vary my Veiled's diet as much as I can with dubias, super worms, crickets, meal, wax and the like. He doesn't seem to have a preference and "goes to town" on whatever I choose to put in for the day. Sometimes, I put one of each in his feeder cup to see what he's decided to eat. Usually, he's eaten all the "slow movers" ie: dubias/worms and on the hunt for the crickets that have crawled out.

Thank you both for the quick answers! I will definitely try super/butter and silk worms and keep wax and mealworms only as a treat!
