Weight Gain

my 2 month old cham isn't big enough & is too skinny. I was told to give her wax worms but she hasn't eaten them. I'm not sure what I can do to get her to gain weight. she loves crickets

should i just keep leaving worms in hopes that she will try one?
feed her a few times a day?
right now she gets 10 crickets in the morning

I would feed her more than that. Double the feeder amount. I had a 2 month old male panther that was very tiny and was stuck at 6 grams. Turns out he had a parasite called Coccidia. He never had a great appetite though. Once he was treated he started gaining. Probably not your case, but if she does not begin to grow,
maybe something to consider

If your cham is new, which it sounds like it may be, I'd get a fecal done and be better safe than sorry. My cham is 1.5 years old now and it wasn't until this past Summer I got him checked, and it turned out he had coccidia. How long did he have it? No idea... wish I would have known earlier and gotten a fecal checked.

I'd recommend bringing a stool in and making sure.

if you've both had that problem then maybe I will take her. My dog was actually just treated for that. Im assuming its different on a dog than a cham since it gave my dog diarrhea.

Ive had her since she was 2 weeks old so she isn't new. Ill bring a sample in

It only cost me 15 dollars for a fecal examination a couple days ago when I went. I'm also going to get a gram scale and weigh him weekly to keep an eye on his weight as this is a good indicator of health i think. I am worried about my guy as he is one and a half years old now and is 130 grams. I am pretty sure it is on the low side. I have brought him into the vet a handful of times now and try to feed my guy crickets, dubia, mealworms, superworms, blue bottle flies, soldier fly larvae, and soon silkworms.

He is pretty active nonetheless, although he only eats 2 or so bugs every other day or so. I wish he would eat more (he used to). According to the fecal examination, the coccidia is gone, but there is a small amount of pinworms. I'm not sure if this could be the problem, but the vet didn't seem to think so.
