hiya guys i whas useing a powersun 100 watt
but when it whas dieing... flickkering of the lightbulb
signs of over heating is what people told me.. i thought
just to try a 100 watt basking light and useing a single uvb
bulb reptisun.. and i must say what a diffrence my veiled
went basking in a way if never seen him in his enclousure
only in the summer time in the garden.. he makes hiself bigg and very
thin and is way more active! anyone els that have been
seeing this kind of behavoire changes?? greetings jurjen!!

Hi Jurjen, out of curiosity, is the Reptisun a long fluorescent like this one:
http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog...por-bulbs/-/zoo-med-18-repti-sun-50-uvb-bulb/
or a compact bulb like this one:http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog...med-mini-compact-fluorescent-50-bulb-13-watt/ ?

I use the long Reptisun 5.0 bulbs and do notice that my chams bask like they do outdoors--flattening laterally and angling towards the bulb.
I've never used any other UVB bulbs, so I can't compare behaviors.

Thanks for sharing your observations.

I have never used a Powersun, so I can't compare........good to know your guy is happily active though :D
