could be ambilobe, but you wont know until after a few more sheds, makes sense ambilobes are the most common anyway, but could be nosybe with wc look

that all depends if the mother was WC or the dad was....nosybe that have some real WC genes arent all blue

here is a link, use google translate but the pics are actual nosybes in the Wild on the island of "nosybe" near madagascar http://www.pantherchameleon.de/madagascar_chameleons/furcifer-pardalis-madagascar?q=node/50/
again im just opening options of what he could be, until he gets older we wont know for sure, he could even be a cross and we might never know...

Very good info! I believe that he is approx 5-6 mos old. I've had him for almost two mos. How much longer until his colors mature? @ 12 or 18 mos?

normally panthers reach full color maturity by 15-18 months, sometimes 24months(2 yrs old)

He looks like an ambilobe with the first pictures, but when he is on his cage he is showing darkened colors like a Nosy Be might. I know mine is a morph and shows yellow in between blue bars then goes to red speckling then to a deep blue.

Possibly a cross Panther with an Ambilobe x Nosy Be.

That would be cool with me! He's a sweet lil guy!

Another possibility is a blue on blue amanja mine looked like the last two pics forever then out of nowhere deep crystal blue bars showed up with a sky blue background with white speckled chin and that was at like 17 months and he finally got those bright colors after he got his first visit from a female:) lol
