I currently have one that is 12" by 20" by 24". I was on another part of the forum and someone said that was too small. How big should his enclosure be?
Oh damn, the guy at the store I bought him from told me that the cage he was giving me was an adult cage....that was one of my first questions.
I currently have an umbrella plant in the cage that is about 20" tall. Should I get a new plant that is bigger too? Sorry for all the basic questions, this is my first chameleon and I got him recently.
I have some smaller umbrella plants around that size and I just put them in and let them grow up. I made sure to put some vines and sticks in and around the plant so my guy can chill on the stem/leaves and still be able to climb higher once he feels the need to.
I do however have a 3ft tall ficus in there I recently ordered from lllreptiles that takes up the majority of free space in the 20-32" range. Those also have some vines and sticks intersecting the plant so the cham can comfortably sit within the confines of the plant.
