What does everyone think?

So Raptor is getting in more and more colors as time goes. But he is starting to turn red. Also his bars seem to stay red. Although the breeder told me he was a blue bar. Will the blue bars come in as time goes? Do you guys think he will turn all red and yellow? I'm new to panthers so I'm not too sure what to think or have any idea of what to expect.

My understanding of Blue Bar is not so much the vertical bars but the single horizontal bar that runs across the body. But I am even newer to this hobby than you so it's best to let the experienced keepers chime in here.

By the way, he is starting to colour up quite nicely. Do you know when he was hatched?

I always thought the bars were the vertical ones! haha! Learn something new everyday!

I am guessing he was hatched sometime in March, not so sure though! I was the one who talked to a so called "breeder" at Repticon that said he had Ambilobes for 100 but had no info on when it was hatched and only had cell phone pics of the sire. Funny thing is that I ran into the same breeder at another show and asked him to see pics of the sire of the babies he had at Repticon, he looked really shocked and he showed me a different picture of what he showed me at Repticon! Long story short, if I know what I do know, i would've never bought from this so called breeder..

Oh well live and learn, just want the best possible life for Mr. Raptor the Chameleon! lol

I am pretty sure the bars are the vertical stripes. How old is he? I can't seem to find it if you said it... sometimes bars become red before they turn blue.

Yeah his true colors won't be developed until 12-18 months old. He may turn out with blue bars.
