What else would you use?

Cainschams

I have recently been gutloading my crix with organic veggies. Kale, dandelion green, kelp, endive, cabbage and so on. I recently ordered the gutload from cricketfood.com. What else would you use along with this product? I also use spirulina, wheat grass powder, and bee pollen.

All that is fine... You dont have to get crazy with your crix feed. Everything that you have said along with your crixfood.com is more than enough to keep them happy.

Sorry should have worded better. I was wondering with the gutload what else should go with it not just for the crix but for the chams also. I also feed them silks, horns, butter, super, and wax worms.

That sounds great as well... Roach and WC bugs are just about all I can add to that. No reason to go crazy with your bugs. I hate it when the food starts to besome more work than the pet.

In addition to the dry cricketfood, some of the greens and vegetables you have been doing should still be included.(moisture)
As Chad said ...no need to go crazy. The dry diet you purchased is quite complete all by itself.

Thats what I wanted to hear. I wanted to try and make it a little easier for me with the gutload. Much cheaper than buying all those veggies and supplements from the organic market. I got the premium mix so I have been using the spirulina in that since I have some left over. I live outside a city so I think I am alright with getting WC bugs without pesticides. The only bugs I have heard are bad are lightning bugs and of course poisonous spiders. Are there any other bugs I should steer clear of. Ihave heard about halfway freezing bees and extracting the stinger to. I have actually frozen bumblebees half and tied them to yarn. When they thaw out you have a bee on a string hahaha its great. I saw it on cky. Everyone should try it you will get a huge kick out of it.

Thanks again for the info.

Ladybugs and Monarch butterflies are also poisonous. Have also read to stay away from bright colored bugs. Try grasshoppers if you can find them. Mine love them. 2nd only to hornworms.

I had a panther that liked to eat big male guppies. You could try feeder fish, but i worry about the transmission of parasites.

I do have fish an aquarium which has a beautiful electric blue jack dempsey swimming in it but you are right about parasites and other known fish illnesses. I dont think I would try it but I am sure its a sight.
