What is everything I need to know before buying a chameleon and is SC a good place to buy one?

what species are you planning on getting? you should do lots of research before getting one because they are very fragile and require a lot of care and aren't very cheap to maintain. if you tell me which species I can give you some links to good resources that can help you understand what you need to do to be successful in chameleon keeping
