what is the best lighting for jackson chameleon

for uvb most members use the zoomed reptsun 5.0 linear tube style, and for your basking you can use a reg house hold incondecant bulb and adjust wattage accordinly, you dont need a very hott basking area for a jacksons, imo 80-85max so i would try a 60w and check tamo and adjust

For UVB, use the ones that they suggested
In my experience, 60w is too hot for them (unless you're in a really cold place), but I used a 60w before and it went up to 90F just beneath the bulb. I personally use 25w and it has been all good since I switched it.

i guess it all depends on where ur located and the ambient temps in the room the cham will be in. repti-glo or repti-sun 5.0 is a generalized thing, most people use them, including me for my jackson's. but i have a 100 watt housebulb because my house is kept between 70 and 60 degrees in the winter..and i average around 80 degrees around the basking spot..some days when the house heat is turned on, it gets too hot so i move his lamp..(ill deff change the wattage come summertime)..

this is what i use, or even smaller..jacksons love cooler temps on warmer days ive been known to use a 15watt even to keep basking temps around 82..
