What NOT to feed to a chameleon [VIDEO]

I would disagree on feeding mice. Some species may benefit from some invertebrate prey, though it's probably not suggested for a newbie(just responding to the above poster, didn't get a chance to watch, for most I'd be on the side of sticking to inverts)

Ugh edit, meant to say vertebrate. Though I think I'd use a slightly older mouse than pinkie due to the higher vitamin content.

My vet said pinkies are helpful after female chameleons lay eggs, to give back some calcium. I imagine snails might also be a good post egg laying treat?

I've heard people mention that before too, the organs provide vitamins as well, so I'd imagine it would be good for a recovering female. As for snails, I think they are a healthy anytime treat!
