I Have been wanting a jacksons for a while and i am building a cage for one but now i decided to get a panther. But, I cant decide what locale to get. Ambanja or Nosy Be? I Want a solid blue cham w/ NO RED. I actually like when they have light and dark stripes of blue though. Please help me.

If you want a solid blue cham you'll have more luck with a Nosy Be. However, it might be hard to tell as a baby if it'll end up having any other colours in it. Best bet is to look at the sires and cross your fingers!

This is exactly what i want. I found this pic on google. IDK what type it is.

Nosy Be's are usually where to go for solid blue chams. KammerflageKreations.com has a lot of good Nosy Be breeders, if you haven't looked there yet. I am trying to get pics uploaded but I got a Nosy Be from them over a month ago and he has a huge color range (green, black, white, baby blue w/white belly, dark blue with darker stripes and even all black and white). I feel like there is no real way to know exactly what they are going to look like when they get older, just look at the sire and cross your fingers, as Dez said. Half the fun in getting a baby chameleon is watching them grow older and show newer colors in the process.

I just bought a Panther Chameleon on July 8 at the San Diego Reptile show from.Amazing Blue Reptiles. I named him Rango Jr. He is going to be 4 months this coming Sunday. I didnt get the locale where he is from. He looks just like the one mentioned above from Ambanja. He is a pretty light blue but then he gets to be black with a white stripe across his body horizontally..I have been looking at loads of pictures to find out bit he is very young yet for me to know.I am totally new to this soif I sound niave, I am..Phylicia

ChuckG's Ambanjas are awesome and have that blue on blue look to them. Contact him and see if he has any left and coming up

I agree with the comments above, if you want an Ambanja (which is what is in the picture you posted), Chuck is a master at perfecting these guys. They are beautiful!

I'm FAR from an ID expert, but he sure lools a lot loke my Ambanja.

I'm looking at the head as well as the broken lateral line.

He is a "looker: for sure and sure hasa nice coloration.

I can't compare his colors to my Ambanja, as mine is red/orange and has several hues of blue ranging from almost tourquoise to sky blue.

Best of luck with him and I hope yo figure out just WHAT he is.
