im in the process of making a cage with screen sides and the frame will be PVC pipe that will be 2ft wide 2ft deep and 5ft tall i have a female jackson chameleon. i was wondering on what plants work the best and if you have any ideas about a drainage system as well that would be helpful.

I use scheffelare and pothos. I find them hard to kill.

ficus banjamina and schefflera aboricola are 2 of the most common, and i believe give off some off the best humidity because of the dense foliage that comes with nice mature plants. also gives great hidding places for the "tend-to-be-shy" montane species. Plus Schefflera Aboricola is native in Hawaii, Perfect for a native Jacksons ;)

i would suggest loading up with vermiculite in the soil for any plant in any viv that has long mist sessions, total of 20-30 minutes a day is overkill for plants, but lots of vermiculite in the soil will help a hell of a lot! (**HINT HINT.. works GREAT with Hibiscus**)
