One of my hornworms has cocooned. I was thinking about putting it at the botton of my large pothos plant in my chams enclosure. What do you guys think?

I'd keep it separate, that way when you get a hawk moth you won't miss the show when your cham has a snack !!!
Your gonna need a hummingbird feeder if you plan on keeping it or more hawkmoths in there if you just keeping the cocoon keep it in warm shallow(enough for them to dig) dirt if it gets to cold the cocoon will weather lock And will be in there for several months if you keep it warm and moist should have a nice big hawk month in 3-4 weeks
