If the vet took an X-ray, they won't be wrong. Is she at least digging in the sand or no? If not, then she'd not ready to lay I'd assume.

If the dilepis have a 3 month gestation time (I think Kinyonga posted a link in another one of your threads stating that) and your female is only 2 months along, then she won't be ready to lay for a little while yet.

Your comment about her eating and pooping sort of solidifies that point. Females usually go off food a few days before egg deposition.

I'm not going against your vet's advice. He/She has seen your animal. I haven't. Because you don't know the actual date(s) of conception and therefore the approximate laying date; keep offering your female the trash can. She will lay when she's ready. And stop fussing over her!

Good luck!

Okay, this is what I would do: I would keep her in her regular cage with a small bucket or bin filled with dirt. When you notice that she goes off her food and is starting to spend time at the bottom of her cage and/or inspecting the bin move her to the larger lay bucket.

I would also ignore her! Beyond the daily feedings/misting sessions and maybe some spot cleaning I would not watch her, handle her and generally not torment her.

Good luck! I know you concerned and that's great for a new owner! Just remember, these animals have been reproducing for thousands and thousands of years and therefore she knows what to do. Just give her what she needs and everything will be good. Also remember that chameleons are a "look, but don't touch" kind of pet, so just let her be. You are just stressing her out more by being stressed out!

Cheers!

i put her back in to her 72 inch reptarium the temp inside there is around 80 her basking temp is 90-95 i have 2 basking lights also i use 2 uvb 5.o floresent lights and i mist twice a day how does this sound??

deja vu?

You know, it would be much better if you were to keep this all in one thread
that way people could read the history with your interactions with this animal.

Spreading multiple posts among different threads and discussion topics
for the same saga is counter productive.

Wow I See Everyone On This Website Has To Put In Their Two Sense Its Not That Serious If I Ask An Extra Question Or Post It Under A Different Heading

When you post here; you are asking for everyones 2 cents. Why don't you take well intended advice instead of rambling on ad nauseum....

Seriously, your posts are like a soap opera.

Thats my 5 cents.

listen since you have a prob with my posts then dont click on my post and dont give me advice there are plenty of people here who help no matter if i post 1 post or 21 posts who ever has a problem with the way i post im asking you not to click on my posts and dont give me your advice im here asking for help and you say stupid things to me like that i really dont need trust me there are many people that would help without all this nonsense so please dont post any of your advice if you have a problem with my posts...thanx

I can see that many of the most experienced people
are already not answering your posts.

If it's quality help you're looking for...
then, it seems you're growing less likely to receive any.
After all, the best way to get quality answers
is to first start by asking quality questions.
Not many versions of the same basic question.

There are people willing to help here.

But what you're doing is flooding the forum
and upsetting the signal to noise ratio
as well as, making it difficult for people
to see the big picture with this animal.

I'm not trying to start a flame war here...
But people are independently
realizing that you're behaving in a manic fashion.
You've already lost two other animals before buying this one
and we're all trying to help the animal here that is clearly
showing signs of being stressed out from your various "concerns".
