Well I bought about 40 crickets yesterday, 25 or so were almost full grown and the others were three weeks old. This morning as I was getting my feeders ready I noticed about all of my large crickets were about dead. Broken legs and what not...did they have some party in there  Most of my little guys did just fine and became breakfast :D

The little guys don't bug me but these gross big crickets...ewww  Then they kill each other...I need some superworms and roaches! Hopefully I won't make my boy into an addict :D

Have any pictures? Large crickets may have been simply old. What were crickets fed yesterday? last night.

How is your ventilation? When I first started housing them I had them in a Tupperware with holes drilled in the top, when I cut large (4" by 6") holes in the sides and glued over with aluminum screen my crix lasted much longer and didn't smell much. There is some problem the brown crix are having ( some cricket disease )

I already threw them out and didn't even think about pics. I gave them some lettuce, orange peels, and carrot pieces. They really should've been all squared away. I would understand if they simply died but most were alive with there legs pointed in all different directions :eek:

My little guys were just fine, maybe two died but that's what I anticipated.

I have them in a large critter keeper, I had over 50 three week old crickets in there and had no problems.

Better yet, I put one of the big surviving crickets with my cham. He's a fischers and I swear they snort :D The cricket tried walking on him, that ticked him off so I swear he was snorting/roaring and stepped on the cricket. I really laughed out loud :D There went another cricket!

It was really hilarious...the roaring is so hilarious. The first time I heard it I thought I may have a dinosaur or dragon living in my house. He stomped his lights out for sure :D

Lol that is funny! My veilds dont waste a second to munch them up XD

My guy wasn't too interested, I've had him for about 4 days so he's still settling and I think I'm already going to have a worm addict :eek: lol he must've seen meal worms in my hand as I have one to my panther. I know he was eating crickets but he knows what he wants! So I may try adding some supers and silks into his diet as well as crickets.

Lmao I swear I have heard my kam making noises lol :p one time I called the breeder I got him from and said he was wining like a dog, then I thought it had to be my dog, then the other day I heard a noise again, lol just when I think I am going crazy I hear something when his mouth is open. It is becoming quite comical :p

If dig them up after two weeks, keep them on the top of the soil and lightly mist them like 2 or 3 times a day, making sure not to saturate them they will not dry out. :) I just had some eggs hatch out

I know suzi I remember talking to you about them but I had ended up getting busy with work and crap and forgot totally about them! =[[ so I just took them and dumped them outside. they didnt even have their coocoon formed =[ They just looked brown and dead. I fail with feeders lol.
