Hi im getting a 3 month old Nosy Be next week and im just wondering what i should feed my cham. Ive read that they can eat about 20 small crickets aday dusted with Repashy Calcium dust, but what other stuff could i feed him?
Thanks!

I personality won't let any feeder roaming on the bottom of the enclosure on poop and stuff.. My suggestion is go for a feeding cup.:)

If you have the time and your Cham has a healthy enough apatite. I would monitor everything i feed them (then take out whatever is not eaten).

I have personally witnessed every feeder eaten by all 3 of my Chams. When i just got into the hobby i kept a journal of what i would feed and how many they ate, what they liked, what they didn't etc. I made feeding changed based on this. Every Cham will differ.

But to answer your questions. I would feed (or try to feed) anything that they can safely eat. (appropriate sized Crickets, superworms, hornworms, silk worms,B.Dubia roaches, Phoenix worms, etc). This way they are exposed to eating a varity of feeders and won't be as shy to try something new. They will trust that you won't put anything funky in there for them to eat.

My panther was eating over 20 3/8 inch crickets a day at that age. He didn't have any problems at all either. Every chameleon is different I suppose, so just try things out.
