What type of panther is this?

Hey everyone, hoping to identify the locale of a panther chameleon i acquired on craigslist a few days ago. I was told he's 9 months old by the gut guy who sold him to me. Thanks in advance.

Congrats on your new panther. He is an Ambilobe Panther Chameleon.

I would check out the resources section and make sure you have all his required care nailed down. One thing I would do right away is add a lot more foliage and sticks to his cage.

Thanks for the prompt response! When I received him, he was in a 12x12x12 enclosure which I've already upgraded. I have a hibiscus tree that I'm placing in his enclosure tonight and am looking for more smaller houseplants. Any suggestions on where to find house plants this time of year? I'm in the Chicago region. I appreciate any help provided. Thanks again.

Awesome! Glad to hear you are on top of everything and getting his setup perfect.

I don't know if they will still have any but I find that the local Lowes and Home Depot usually have a good selection of house plants that are perfect for their cages. They usually have some good prices as well.
