What types of plants are safe for a chams enclosure?

I've seen a lot of people on this forum put live plants in their chams enclosure. I was wondering what type of plants were safe for the cham. I currently only have plastic plants in his enclosure.

No problem any ficus plants just be careful with them when stems break they leak out this sap an it can irrate your Cham eyes just one of the plants you can use just be careful with it .... I have one in my enclosure ...

That list is for cats and dogs and is pretty unreliable

Some of the go-to plants on here are pothos, schefflera, ficus, hibiscus.

Adding real plants is a nice touch that your chameleon will apprecite.

If you have a veiled, keep in mind that they do nibble quite a bit on their plants. That is why fake plants are not recommended as they may eat a fake leaf and get impacted. Pothos is my favorite. My girl Ness loves it too, she gets very grumpy if I don’t let her out in the free range every evening.
