what's safe on the bottom

hi from the uk ive recently purchased a 10 month old yemen chameleon on the bottom of the vivarium it has soil can you tell me if this is safe if not what is the best to place on the bottom of the viv the chameleon is doing fine eating well but i want to update is home and keep it natural looking any suggestions would be very much appreciated have a nice weeeekend

get he soil out. it's too dangerous to risk him getting impaction. the best is something like a towel or plastic that can drain into a bucket. if you want humidity get some moss on top of you plants and that will help.

Paper towels or a plastic bottom are easiest for keeping clean - just make sure you provide for drainage..
