What's your mist cycle?

I have a mist king and wondering what mist cycles ppl do. I have it set to mist:
10secs at 7:30am (30 mins after my lights come on)
9:00am for 1 min
6:00 pm for 1 min

1 min is more than enough time to soak the habitat and it gives ample time to dry between the long cycles. Any other ideas? Maybe more little misting?

Still dont have my Cham... :( waiting on my week vacation to come and go...
(Is it sad that I want my vacation to com and go so I can get the Little guy?)

P.S. Thanks everyone for all the help on the start up to this great sport of chameleoning, Hopefully I haven't spoiled this guy too much and i don't even have him yet!

How big is the cage? Do you have any options for drainage or do you risk ruining your furniture?

I think you should never mist less than 3 minutes, but if your cage is small and floods then it may not be realistic. Alternatively, perhaps you can add another one or two mistings during the day - maybe another one at noon and another one at 3pm. Chameleons drink a lot more than you think, and it's always better to have them overhydrated than dehydrated.

I personally mist 15 mins in the morning, 3 minutes at noon, and 20 minutes in the afternoon. Mine love the long showers, and will sit the entire time under the water with their eyes closed just enjoying the soak.
