Wheat Bran Dubias

Been keeping my dubias in this mainly as a substrate that keeps the setup dryer and clean. Works great and I imagine they eat it to some extent. Never thought about the protein amount though. Is this stuff too high in protein to be keeping roaches in?

I was recommended not to go over 18/19% protein. I grind rabbit food that's 18%, dried bird greens and bee pollen and have had no issues with my 5 different species of chameleons.

Dang yeah, it says not less than 15% so idk if it's safe.

"When in doubt, look for a high-quality, plant-based diet that has a protein content of less than 20% and avoids the use of grain bran." Found this on dubiaroaches.com. Just sucks cause I have like 40 lbs of it.
