when are veiled chameleons full grown?

I was wondering this also as Tilly is around 16 / 17 months now. And she still shed's occaisionally. How long till she stops growing?

usually there fully grown by a year old, but they will start to really slow down from about 8 months?? and by a year old there will be that little growth you dont really recognise it as they're practically hardly growing

Aw sounds like thats' it for her then now! I don't mind, she's cute this way haha

Just seen your new thread with pics, she looks a decent size for a female anyway, so shes fully grown she'll literally grow about a mm a year its that little difference as they do all there growing in the first year, which is why people should lay off breeding lizards too early as it makes them stop small for the rest of there lives, so let them grow fully then breed is what we try to do :p

Amy's food intake dropped a lot at 6 months or so around the time that she got her big girl colours. She is about the same age as Tilly. They actually never stop growing, hence the occasional shedding as adults. Amy shed every month until she got to 6 months, then it slowed right down to every 3 months. Lily used to shed every 3 months also. I haven't noted down exact timing for Tommy, but I think he is about the same.

I love the females' smaller, more rounded body shape! Although Tommy is gorgeous, I just love the little females, they are just so cute! Have you weighed and measured Tilly at all?
