So I'm curious about the time table.
Do the females get receptive colors while carrying eggs? Right after they lay an infertile clutch? When eggs are developed and she is getting ready lay? Mine seems to get receptive colors between clutches but more toward the end of her cycle. Maybe it varies for different females.
It would make sense if the eggs are developed then the male fertilizes them and then she lays.
I'm just doing my homework.
