We have a 7 month old Sambava male that used to eat really well. Now he will eat really good one day and the next have 1 or 2 crickets or maybe none at all. Is this normal??

Is crickets all you are offering him? If so, he is probably just tired of eating the same thing. yeah, 7 months that sounds about right!

oh, ok thent we will rule out hunger strike because of lack of variety!! Honestly I wouldn't worry to much. I went through times with mine where he did not eat much at all and then his appetitie picked up. It was at 7 months though that he refused crickets and only wanted superworms. Have you tried silks?? If you are gonna feed worms they are about the best ones and much better than wax or meal.

I wouldn't feed wax worms to offen tho, there very fatty and people say they slow down but I've got a adult pair of cap est panthers that are eating me out of house and home at the minute lol

Im glad you asked this question because honestly Koopa hasnt ate all week. He hasnt had a stool in over a week. I ordered some supers but crickets and dubias are not his friend right now! He is about 6-7 months.
