When it rains it pours..RIP Titus

Some of you may have read my post on Titus, he seemed to have something neurological going on and had many issues moving around.

I'm devestated to say that Titus has passed away. This morning I noticed he wasn't eating and was starting to gape and looked extremely uncomfortable. After watching him longer and talking to a member, I realized it was his tongue bone. Titus has cut off his tongue and was now unable to eat, he only had a small stump of tongue left.

With all his issues and no tongue the most humane thing to do was put him to sleep. I'm completely devestated and beside myself.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me and a big thank you to Laurie and all your support and knowledge.

Thank you, I feel better now just knowing he's not suffering. I just couldn't believe his luck...I didn't think anything else could go wrong. He was super energetic this morning and walking all over my hands to the vets so I know he was at least acting well.

awe gosh sorry to hear that. I was rooting for that little guy to recover. Well atleast you know now that he is free of pain and is probably climbing the tallest tree in heaven right now. RIP Titus

Thank you everyone, I am happy that at least now he will no longer be suffering, he's been such a trooper and I learned so much from him! May he rest in peace in chameleon heaven.

I am so sorry! I realy thought titus would develope fine other than the lip&foot blimish. All the others from that clutch (19 in all) are doing just fine and in perfect health. here's a sneek peak at your baby he hatched yesterday. He will be ready to go around halloween.
