Most of these are awesome and unique names, but everyone, please don’t name your chameleon Pascal, Rango, or Kiwi, because that’s about just as common and basic as you can get, and there are about a billion other chameleons that already have those names.(sorry in advance to the people that chose those names for their chameleon)

"Unique?" Don't get me started... 
- I've always made my own lists of prospective names.
- I never look at the "published" lists.
- Sometimes a decent Thesaurus can be a good source for names.
- While I always have a list of prospectives, non-human family members have always "chosen" their own names by their appearance, behavior/antics, misadventures, personality, or whatever.

That’s how my chameleon got her name. I was desperately thinking about what to name her, meanwhile my brothers were trying to name her things like Gretchen,Ugly, and “lizard”. So I’m just holding/staring at her, wondering if I should just go so low as to name her Pascal, when she tries to eat a mint,(this was at Christmas, and I had also gotten a big pack of mints. As they are so good,) so anyways, she gets it, but it’s too big so it just stays in her “front teeth”, so I slowly grab it out, and then after thinking about it(and also panicking,looking over her to make sure she’s alright,etc.) I decide to name her Minty.(and I realize that this was kinda long and boring so sorry)

That's exactly the kind of thing I meant. It took 6 months from when we got him, and the name wasn't even on the list, but we wound up calling him Ol' GrumpyPants very early on (cuz he's a very grumpy lizard and wears pants), and it stuck.

I've seen a lot of "Camo" too.. so far the most original I found was "Godzilla" and the chameleon was actually a monster, never seen one so big! Lol

Hahahahaha that's why I tagged uI was doing really good and thinking that those were all good names for a Chameleon then I got down to the "Famous Chameleon Names" and I got triggered seeing Rango and Pascal!
