With the recent import, who's working with them??? I have only seen one person so far
.. I guess I figured we'd have seen more by now...

Good question. They are supposed to be unbelievably expensive too once the are going to be advertised. I have been hearing reports of expect to see them being advertised for sale before summer though. Something with the export paperwork. As for the shipment that came into LA why they I have not show up on the market I could not tell you.

Luis (luevelvet) is working on getting a good sized group in. He is still hoping it will be by the end of March, but isn't sure. They really are am incredibly beautiful chameleon. I have been waiting for a while.

Interesting. I'm not in the market for campani at the moment I was just curious since I heard all the hype, then nothing...

I sure hope to see some soon though! A beautiful species they are.

The importer brought in 30 of them, very male-heavy. It was the same shipment your Tamatave came in with. Yeah, can't believe Chad's pic is the only one we've seen on here. Wonder what happened to them all....

I actually thought the price was relatively cheap considering they havent been in the country for 17 years. Less than a really nice male panther lol. Im glad they dont do anything for me at all or I would be all over it!

I concur with you. Earlier estimates were $800.00 and up for a pair.

Good lord the editing gods rolled through...

The answer is that they were acquired and are being sold by a retailer and advertised on a popular reptile classifieds website.

Is that acceptable?

Agreed... I'm sure someone will scoop them up though. Glad to see some finally!

Looks like about $500 a pair. My last one was back in '94. Not much to say about them. Females were more aggressive than the males which I found unusual. They really didn't do anything for me or hold my interest. It is nice to see some back on the market.
