My female Eva has been changing color lately to a white or super light white looking color. I figured he was stressed or angry, but any info would be great. Thanks everyone

no not around sleeping time just part of the day and i dont think its a shed. I will have to try and get a picture tomorrow or see if i have a picture of it. The reason i said angry or stress because she is like a very white color with a black marks like stressed

blanched? i only know this as being a symptom of overheating. though ive had elderly chams loose their vibrancy and get pretty pale. any other symptoms? or behavior associated? any gaping. if shes hanging out up by the light she might not be overheating but avoiding getting any warmer because shes already comfortable?

shes a female panther right?

Yea she is a femal panther, and the only other behavior she has been displaying is climbing on the screen of the cage. He highest temp is right around 83-84 degrees but she is eating fine and fecal matter is normal and hydrated

Hmmm white panther female huh

In my experiences lack of the proper lighting could cause different colors than she usually shows. Check your UV lights. One thing how old is she... and are her eyes closed alot ... if so you might be in a bit of trouble with her. The fact she s eating is a very good sign. I'd check out your lighting and see if she reacts to a change... Good Luck ! That's about all I got for you... hope it helps out !

How old is Eva? She could be receptive. Do you have a laying bin available for her ?

IS is about a 6 in half month old and yes i have a laying bin for her but her weight is no where to in the odd weight gain range.
